TAPP Group supplied and installed equipment for the Pechorskaya Concentrator.
Six screens from Tapp Group have been installed at the factory and two years in the equipment still performs as a Swiss watch. The sieves are changed less frequently compared to the American ones, and the original vibrators operate fail-free.
This year, the factory carried out a planned replacement of American equipment, which, by the way, worked less than the normative period and began to literally fall apart. The banana type screens from Tapp Group were chosen as a substitution.
We were tasked with manufacturing, supplying and installing three screens during the strictest lockdown associated with COVID-19. Factories were closed, borders were closed, and even travel between cities was under serious limitations. As soon as the authorization to reopen the enterprises was received, we started working hard on the production and delivery of equipment. Thorough planning of all the delivery and manufacturing stages paid off and the equipment was delivered to the customer within the agreed timeframe.
The installation of the first screen took only 19 hours. The equipment was first assembled and then installed at the required location. The installation of two other screens took two days. The equipment was assembled right on the mark and the harsh installation conditions slowed the process down a bit. In total, the installation and start-up of the three banana-type screens took two days.
Tapp Group screens are an efficient piece of equipment and have a long service life.
