Screen assembly in record time
In the first half of 2019, we assembled and installed 3 x 6.1m Banana screens with vibration isolation frames at +12.4m mark of the main concentrator building.
Tapp Group 's engineers developed a project that allowed the installation team to assemble the equipment in a short time-frame, meeting the company's high quality standards, despite the fact that the size of the enclosure opening did not allow the screens to be lifted to the mark in their assembled state.
Two screens were assembled on the mark in an operating factory. The assembly was carried out within 32 h, even as we installed a vibration isolation frame, a loading box and sprinklers.
