Installation of a TAPP WRSL-1300 centrifuge for dewatering coal concentrate at a coal preparation plant.
In March 2025, a coal preparation plant contacted TAPP Group with a request to replace an HSG-1300 centrifuge in the dewatering section. To dewater coal concentrate with a size of 16–35 mm after the SKVP separator, a Tapp Screen WRSL-1300 centrifuge with a capacity of 80 t/h was selected. The new equipment successfully replaced the outdated machine, ensuring stable operation with the required throughput and product moisture at the outlet of <13%.
A distinctive feature of the project was the adaptation of the centrifuge mounting to fit HSG-1300 baskets that were in the customer’s spare parts stock. This engineering solution made it possible to use the existing spares without additional costs for new components and simplified integration.
The centrifuge was manufactured and delivered within a short time — 99 days from the date of prepayment. As a result, the plant received a modern, reliable centrifuge with the required performance characteristics, while the transition to the new equipment required no infrastructure modifications and preserved the use of existing spare parts.

Compatibility. TAPP Group designs equipment with the possibility of adaptation to individual requirements. In this project, the WRSL-1300 model was adapted to the HSG-1300 basket mounts, which made it possible to use the existing spare parts without modifications.
