Due to the steep angle of the first sections, the feed moves at high speed, forming a thin layer. This facilitates the sifting of fine particles into the sub-sieve. Towards the discharge zone, the velocity of the material decreases, it stays longer on the sieve, which contributes to a better separation of "difficult" particles.
Banana screens are indispensable when screening material with a high content of fine particles. In this case, their productivity is 30-40% higher than that of screens with a horizontal screening surface. Banana type screens can be produced in single deck (single screen tier) and double deck
(double screen) versions.
